Incredible Inspiration

I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in order.

John Burroughs
American naturalist and essayist

  1. ...even the one's we've yet to discover, we attain....

a swan in a lake... we can see it, how fervishly he paddles beneath, yet above, glides so still and graceful.
we can hear it, only by the subtle wake that seperates his reflection from his true self...
we can smell it, with a deep breath...
fowl and greenness, land and water...
we can touch it, the Earth, with being, tasting all what she has to offer...

today, a swan in a lake...offers us peace, regardless of the troubled waters, reflect on the whiteness, the stilling of your other senses, being the most common one. . . a swan in the lake will swim us closer to all attainment.

  2. How lovely. And so true.

I was just thinking today, whilst pulling up some weeds in the garden, how spiritual being in nature is. It's a full sense experience, for sure.

    1. I agree, Debbie. I have thought for a long time now that the forest is my cathedral!
