Whimsical Word of the Week

Fusty (adj.) -

smelling stale, damp, or stuffy.

Example: The princess was finally discovered, and then rescued, from the fusty smelling dungeon.

  1. I have always loved this word. I've encountered it in a few novels (usually English, when I think of it), and it really suggests so well what it means. It's funny how some words do that.
