Whimsical Word of the Week

Phantasmagoria -

a series or group of strange or bizarre images seen as if in a dream or as created by the imagination.

Example: The scenes from the fantasy novel unfolded in a phatasmagoric fashion.

    1. I decided to feature this word when I read it in a MG novel!! So much for needing to avoid sounding too adult...with children's literature. I love it when authors cause their young readers to learn a new word. Thanks, Elizabeth!
